Petra Podbregar

Managing Director

Petra is one of the founding members of NEXI and a key figure in the company. As a procurement officer appointed in 2006, she significantly contributed to the development of the company by promoting NEXI’s values and client-first culture, focusing on ensuring the company’s sustainable growth, and driving long-term value. Petra’s holistic approach to business dynamics and focus on results make her a valuable asset to the firm. In 2012 she was promoted to Managing Director and is responsible for managing the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies, and interacting with clients, employees, and partners.

Petra is an SMB management specialist with a strong marketing background. She specialized in managing small consulting companies that engage a large number of vendors and external consultants to provide services to large enterprises worldwide, especially in the Americas and the APAC region.

She is a passionate team leader and motivator. Since she took over as the conductor of NEXI’s orchestra, the company’s global spread has been extensive. As a consequence of this growth, NEXI has become a company that demands diligent organization of people and processes—tasks that were, and still are, managed well by Petra.

Petra is dedicated to helping NEXI people be successful and making the company an even better place to work in the future. She is a great advocate of corporate social responsibility and high business ethics.

As a true believer in a better world that is worth fighting for, she is always prepared to shoulder responsibilities and be accountable. In her free time, she enjoys participating in sports activities, but the most valuable are the moments spent with her family. She adores nature in its every atom.
